Has over 20 years experience in the retail and leisure retail sectors with major plc’s including Sainbury’s, Whitbread and Grand Metropolitan/Diageo, most of it in Senior Executive roles. Has also participated in two VC backed businesses including Avebury Taverns where David was a founding director and CEO from inception through to a £300 million+ exit in 2005.
David has been Non–executive Chairman of the hospitality division of SandpiperCI, the leading bar, restaurant and hotel operator in the Channel Islands and is currently Chairman of PBR Leisure, the company that acquired Premium Bars and Restaurants out of Administration in December 2009.
Ian Frost
Similarly experienced, Ian worked with Argos and Pizza Hut before joining Grand Metropolitan/Diageo where he held a number of Senior Executive roles. Ian was a founding director along with David Myers of a specialist licensed property consultancy business that was sold to Savills plc in 1995 before becoming a founding director of Avebury Taverns where he remained until exit in 2006. At Avebury, Ian held senior executive roles in operations, commercial and real estate.
